Meanwhile, who would the best Democrat contender be? Hillary with all the experience and she knows her way round the White House. After all her husband was the President before the present incumbent. Or would Obama with just four years as a Senator be a fresh face to the Oval Office?
John McCain is planning to meet up with the party leaders in the UK to discuss furthering the US-UK alliance and the friendship that has been ongoing for many decades we would summise.
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice meets with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Foreign Secretary David Miliband to discuss Afghanistan. It is presumed that they will consider the extra input of troops from the wider European countries such as Germany, Holland and France plus others.
